Terms and Conditions: : Use of Juta's Customer Self-Service Portal

These terms and conditions (“use of Juta’s Customer Self-Service Portal”) are to be read with Juta & Company (Pty) Ltd (“Juta”) standard terms and conditions of sale, use and access of products and information as it appears on our website, click here for the T & C’s

  • The user is bound by both the Customer Self-Service Portal terms and conditions and Juta’s ordinary terms and conditions of sale, use and access of products/services will be read as if it appears here.
  • Registration to use the Customer Self-Service Portal (“the Portal”):-

    To use the Portal, you have to register on our website www.juta.co.za and accept the terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) that will apply whenever you access and use the Portal. By clicking on the link provided above, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them. In terms of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act of 2002, as amended, (“ECTA”) these Terms and Conditions are binding and legally enforceable against you.

  • Juta now offers access and management to certain information via the Self-Service Portal www.juta.co.za:-
    1. The last 12 months statements, invoices, credit notes, proformas and subscription renewal notices

    2. Accessible documents/forms:-

      1. Credit Application

      2. Debit Order Authorisation

      3. Customer refund requisition

      4. Credit Card Authorisation

      5. Juta’s bank details

      6. BEE certificate

    3. User access and management – kindly note that the User/Customer is responsible for managing information and amendments, Juta will not be held liable for incorrect management of information by the user and the user specifically indemnifies Juta for any incorrect management of information.

    4. Licence management - kindly note that the User/Customer is responsible for managing information and amendments, Juta will not be held liable for incorrect management of information and the user specifically indemnifies Juta for any incorrect management of information.

    5. Address changes will be actioned and updated within 48 hours.

    1. We may add to or remove functions at our discretion from time to time without prior notice to you. In such event, you will have no claim against us or our service providers related to such changes.

    2. User Access Details:-

      1. Upon registration to use the Portal www.juta.co.za, you will be required to select a username and password. You agree :-

        1. To safeguard this information and not disclose it to any third party.

        2. that neither we nor our service providers can be held liable for any damages or loss sustained by you as a result of such information becoming known to third parties, whether through your actions, fraud, malware or phishing.

    3. We reserve the right to suspend any account that we believe may have been compromised.

    4. Please notify us immediately if you believe that your account has been accessed without your permission.
